1. Who we are

StudyDash ("we", "us", "our") is an independent digital product operated by its founder. StudyDash is accessible at studyDash.app. For any privacy questions, contact us at hello@studyDash.app.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Profile information: Your university, subjects, and preferences you set during onboarding.
• Content you create: Notes, planner entries, revision tracker data, and any other content you create within StudyDash.
• Files you upload: Documents or images you choose to upload to your notebooks.
• Payment information: We do not store card details. Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy, who handle all payment data securely.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve StudyDash
• To personalise your experience (greetings, AI suggestions)
• To send you important notifications (deadline reminders, payment receipts)
• To communicate with you when you contact us

We will never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running StudyDash.

4. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides PostgreSQL databases hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Supabase is GDPR compliant.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data we hold about you (export from Settings page)
• Correct inaccurate data (update from your Profile page)
• Delete your account and all associated data (from your Profile page)
• Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies necessary to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Third-party services

StudyDash uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (GDPR compliant)
• LemonSqueezy — payment processing (PCI compliant)
• Netlify — website hosting
• Resend — transactional email
• OpenAI / Anthropic — AI features (note content sent for processing is not stored by the AI provider for training purposes under our API agreements)

8. Children's privacy

StudyDash is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
